On April 27, 2026, at the CESPE headquarters, a workshop entitled “The “peasant” (?) move from city to village. Preliminary considerations” was held. Several researchers from the center participated in the seminar in a hybrid format (physical and online).
The seminar was based on the observations obtained by the researcher after interviewing some of the people “moved to the village” from Argeș County. The approach was part of the broader research undertaken by the researcher to obtain the doctorate in sociology. The discussions focused on clarifying theoretical aspects such as the difference between “move” and “migration”, or “peasant” and “neopeasant”.
