The European Centre for Ethnic Studies and the Contemporary Cultural Identity Association organized the book launch How Romania’s Borders Were Drawn in Paris in 1919. The Minutes of the Commission for the Study of Territorial Questions Concerning Romania, by George Damian Mocanu, researcher within the European Center for Studies in Ethnic Issues, as well as the opening of the photo-documentary exhibition “The Martyrs of the Great Union. The Destinies of an Exceptional Generation,” produced by the Contemporary Cultural Identity Association. The event took place in the “Theodor Pallady” Exhibition Hall of the Library of the Romanian Academy, on November 22, 2024. The speakers were Dr. Alin Spânu, historian and associate professor at the Faculty of History of the University of Bucharest; Dr. Florian Banu, historian and senior adviser to the National Council for the Study of the Securitate Archives; Mihai Floroiu, coordinator of the exhibition; and Dr. George Damian Mocanu, researcher within the European Centre for Ethnic Studies of the Romanian Academy.
