The European Centre for Ethnic Studies co-organized the conference “The Resilience of Intercultural Communities in the European Context,” in Târgu Mureș, on May 13, 2024, an event at which the following spoke: Prof. Dr. Radu Carp, Lecturer Dr. Lucian Săcălean, deputy Bogdan-Alin Stoica, the representative of the Association of the League of Albanians in Romania (acronym ALAR), and doctoral candidate Dragoș Burghelia. The event was organized by the Center for Regional Research and Strategies in collaboration with the European Centre for Ethnic Studies of the Romanian Academy, the Romanian Society for Research in Public and Private Affairs, and the Moralis Association, in order to debate the challenges, realities, and difficulties faced by intercultural communities, especially in this complicated European context. The conference “The Resilience of Intercultural Communities in the European Context” served as a forum for discussion and exchange of ideas among specialists, teachers, and regional and central authorities. Its purpose was to identify responses to current challenges which, in many respects, are similar across the entire European continent.
